Ana Aleksovska is a writer, director, and production coordinator based in Skopje, North Macedonia, with experience across film, television, and social media productions.
Her work often bridges creative documentary and investigative storytelling, exploring environmental, social, and cultural themes through a cinematic and emotionally intelligent lens.
Ana’s films have been screened and awarded at Hot Docs IDFF, Kustendorf Film and Music Festival, FEKK – Ljubljana, and Moscow Shorts, among others. She has collaborated with partners like DW Europe, British Embassy Skopje, and Journalismfund.eu, leading projects that merge journalistic integrity with strong visual authorship.
Trained in literature and film directing in Paris, Prague, and Skopje, Ana brings an interdisciplinary approach to storytelling — combining analytical depth, technical precision, and a distinct human perspective.
Currently, she continues to develop documentary and hybrid projects focused on the intersection of art, ecology, and social responsibility.
